CTET Qualifying Marks:

The qualifying marks for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2025 depends upon the categories of candidates:

  • General Category: Candidates belonging to the general category must score at least 60% marks or more, which is equivalent to 90 out of 150 marks.
  • SC/ST/OBC/Other Reserved Categories: The qualifying marks for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other candidates must score 55% marks to 82.5 out of 150 marks, to qualify for the CTET.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For Primary Stage (Classes I-V): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • For Elementary Stage (Classes VI-VIII): Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
