Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate, with preference for candidates with banking, finance, or business degrees.
  • Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers):
  • Degree in the relevant field (e.g., IT, Law, Agriculture, etc.).
  • Officer Scale-III:
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate and at least 5 years of experience in banking or finance.

Age Limit:

  • Office Assistant: 18–28 years
  • Officer Scale-I: 18–30 years
  • Officer Scale-II: 21–32 years
  • Officer Scale-III: 21–40 years

Note: Age relaxations apply for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

Nationality:

Candidates must be Indian citizens or fall under specific eligibility criteria like Tibetan refugees or persons of Indian origin as per government rules.

Syllabus of IBPS RRB Exam 2025

Reasoning:

Coding-Decoding, Syllogism, Blood Relations, Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Direction Sense, Input-Output, Logical Reasoning.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Number Series, Simplification, Data Interpretation, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Speed, Time and Distance, Ratio and Proportion.

General Awareness:

Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, Economic News, Static GK, Government Schemes.

Computer Knowledge:

Basics of Computer, MS Office, Networking, Internet, Operating Systems.

Professional Knowledge (for Specialist Officers):

Relevant subjects based on specialization, such as IT, Law, Agriculture, etc.

Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 40 marks

Total: 80 marks, 45 minutes duration

Mains Exam:
