LIC AAO is a competitive exam conducted by the Life Insurance Corporation to recruit post wise under various departments of AAO- Chartered Accountant, Actuarial, Legal, Rajbhasha IT. This exam is conducted once in every year. The vacancies have reservation according to the category of the candidate. The salary for LIC AAO is approximately Rs.53,600 - 1,02,090 per month. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the examination, candidates must be between 21-30 years and must have completed graduation. The exact age and educational qualification are different according to the category of the candidate.
The application for general category is Rs. 700. For SC/ST/PWBD it is Rs. 85.
Syllabus of LIC AAO (Life Insurance Corporation of India - Assistant Administrative Officer) Exam 2025
The examination will be conducted in 3 stages - Prelims, mains and interview.
Reasoning: puzzles, seating arrangements, direction sense, blood relations, syllogism, order and ranking, coding-decoding, machine input-output, inequalities, alpha-numeric symbol series, data sufficiency, and logical reasoning.
Quantitative Aptitude: data interpretation, inequalities (quadratic equations), number series, approximation and simplification, data sufficiency, HCF and LCM, profit and loss, simple and compound interest, problems on ages, work and time, speed distance and time, probability, mensuration, permutation and combination, average, ratio and proportion, partnership, problems on boats and streams, mixture and alligation, and pipes and cisterns.
English Language: reading comprehension, fillers, cloze test, sentence errors, sentence improvement, vocabulary-based questions, jumbled paragraphs, word usage, phrase connectors, paragraph connectors, paragraph restatement, paragraph inference, and paragraph fillers.
General Awareness: history of India, Indian economics, geography, Indian constitution, important days, books and authors, countries, capitals, and currencies, awards, honors, and recognition, science and technology, inventions and discoveries, financial institutions (both national and international), national and international organizations, current affairs (both national and international), Indian politics, finance, budget, and five-year plans.
