Stage 1 (Computer Based Test) CBT:
General Awareness
Current Affairs, Indian History, Indian Geography, Polity and Constitution, Economy, Sports, Science and Technology Developments, Culture and Arts, Awards and Honors, Important Organizations and Headquarters.
General Intelligence and Reasoning
Analogies, Coding and Decoding, Similarities and Differences, Mathematical Operations, Classification, Puzzles, Venn Diagrams, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, Statement-Conclusion, Statement-Assumptions, Decision Making, Relationships, Syllogisms.
Mathematics (if applicable)
Number System, Decimals and Fractions, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Averages, LCM and HCF, Age Calculations, Data Interpretation.
Stage 2 Skill Test:
The skill test will be conducted in accordance with their position.

Shorthand skills, Typing speed, Grammar, Vocabulary, Translation skills, Teaching methods, Subject-specific pedagogy, Child development, Education policies, Official language rules, Specialized topics as per job requirements.
Exam Pattern
There shall be a Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Stenography Skill Test (SST)/Translation Test (TT)/Performance Test (PT)/Teaching Skill Test (TST) (as applicable) and document verification and medical examination thereafter. The detailed pattern in given below:
Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) - 1
- Professional Ability: 50
- General Awareness: 15
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: 15
- Mathematics: 10
- General Science: 10
- Total: 100 Questions, 90 minutes
- Negative marking : - 1/3 marks for every wrong answer.
Stage 2: Skill Test:
Stenography, Translation, Performance, and Teaching Skill tests are conducted to test the candidate's ability for the particular post.
