The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the vacancies for SBI clerk post. The recruiting authority will soon conduct the recruitment examination. The detailed notification is out and interested candidates can fill out the application form online through official website.

The application fee details for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam are as follows:

  • SC/ST/PwD: No fee

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam

  • Reasoning Ability:

    Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Syllogism, Inequalities, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Direction Sense, Order and Ranking, Alphanumeric Series, Input-Output.

  • Quantitative Aptitude:

    Simplification, Approximation, Number Series, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Time and Work, Time, Speed and Distance, Mensuration, Averages, Percentages.

  • English Language:

    Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Detection, Fill in the Blanks, Para Jumbles, Vocabulary, Sentence Rearrangement, Synonyms and Antonyms.

Stage 2: Main Exam

  • Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude:

    Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Coding-Decoding, Syllogism, Logical Reasoning, Input-Output, Data Sufficiency, Machine Input-Output, Statement and Assumptions, Networking, Internet, Computer Basics, MS Office, Keyboard Shortcuts, Computer Memory.

  • Quantitative Aptitude:

    Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Problems, Caselet DI, Probability, Permutation and Combination, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Boats and Streams, Problems on Ages, Partnership, Mixtures and Allegations.

  • General/Financial Awareness:

    Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, Static GK, Financial Awareness, RBI Functions, Banking Terms, Government Schemes, Economy, Budget and Fiscal Policies, International Organizations.

  • English Language:

    Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, Cloze Test, Fill in the Blanks, Error Detection, Para Jumbles, Sentence Improvement, Phrase Replacement, Synonyms and Antonyms.

Exam Pattern:

Stage 1: Preliminary Exam

  • Total Marks: 100
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Negative Marking: - 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Sections:
  • English Language (30 Questions)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (35 Questions)
  • Reasoning Ability (35 Questions)

Stage 2: Main Exam

  • Total Marks: 200
  • Total Questions: 190
  • Duration: 160 minutes
  • Negative Marking: - 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Sections:
  • General/Financial Awareness (50 Questions)
  • General English (40 Questions)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions)
  • Reasoning and Computer Aptitude (50 Questions)

Note that, there will be no interview round. Candidates will be shortlisted on the exam basis. But, trained apprentices of SBI may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks.
