Eligibility Criteria
SSC GD Constable Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 23 years
Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years
- Other Backward Class (OBC): 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen (ExS): 3 years (after deduction of military service rendered)
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (Unreserved): 5 years
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (OBC): 8 years
- Children and dependents of victims killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat (SC/ST): 10 years1.
SSC GD Constable Educational Qualification:
- You must possess a matriculation degree (equivalent to 10th class pass) from a recognized Board or University.
- This qualification should be met as of January 1 of year applying for.

Syllabus of SSC GD Constable (General Duty) Exam 2025
- General Intelligence and Reasoning: Topics include analogies, similarities, differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, coding and decoding, etc.
- General Knowledge and General Awareness: Questions related to current events, sports, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general polity, Indian Constitution, scientific research, etc.
- Elementary Mathematics: Basic arithmetic topics such as number systems, whole numbers, decimals, fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, time and distance, time and work, etc.
- English/Hindi Language: Basic comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
