Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality
    • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Age Limit
    • The age range is between 20 – 25 years as of August 1, 2025.
    • Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
  • Educational Qualification
    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
    • For departmental candidates: Minimum 3 years of service in Delhi Police.
  • Physical Standards

    For all posts:

    • Male candidates: Height - 170 cm (relaxation for certain categories), Chest - 80 cm unexpanded (85 cm expanded)
    • Female candidates: Height - 157 cm (relaxation for certain categories)
  • Physical Endurance Test (PET)

    For male candidates:

    • 100 metre race in 16 seconds
    • 1.6 Km race in 6.5 minutes
    • Long Jump: 3.65 metres in 3 chances
    • High Jump: 1.2 metres in 3 chances
    • Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances

    For female candidates:

    • 100 metre race in 18 seconds
    • 800 metre race in 4 minutes
    • Long Jump: 2.7 metres in 3 chances
    • High Jump: 0.9 metres in 3 chances

Please note that there is no minimum chest measurement requirement for female candidates in SSC Sub Inspector Exam.
