How to apply?

Exam Pattern

Here is a pattern for the UPSSSC PET:

  • Objective Type Questions: The preliminary examination consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Duration: The duration of the preliminary examination is usually 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • Qualifying Nature: The preliminary examination is conducted as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination.

Marking Scheme:

  • A total of 100 questions will be asked in an objective-type multiple-choice pattern.
  • Each correct answer will be rewarded with 1 mark.
  • Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 1/4 mark.
  • The exam shall be held for 2 hours.
